Copy a Week of Menus

There are two ways that copying weeks of menus can be helpful:

1. Within the same site.
• You want to copy a month of menus forward to the next month
• You are on a cycle menu and you want to copy weeks forward
2. Between two different sites: for example, if you have a central kitchen or operate a chain of child care centers and they all use the same menu

To copy a weekly menu:

• Click on “Menu” from the main dashboard

• Scroll to the bottom under “Copy Weekly Menu”.

If you are copying within the same site you are probably copying a month of menus or a cycle menu forward. For example, let's say you want to copy 4 weeks of January to February:

You are copying 4 weeks of menus starting 1/5 to 2/2. This is what you should enter in the boxes under Copy Weekly Menu:

(you will only see the "Which site(s)" option if you are an administrator at more than one site.)

• Click the green "Copy Meal Menus" and your menus will be copied.

If you are copying within two different sites, you are probably copying a central kitchen menu from one site to another for same date range. For example, let's say that you are copying your February menu from your Central Kitchen site to the other sites.

• You are copying 4 weeks of menus starting 2/2 to the same date (2/2) on the other sites. This is what you should enter in the boxes under Copy Weekly Menu:

• Click the green "Copy Meal Menus" and your menus will be copied.
