Principals

This feature allows you to track information about the principals of a sponsoring organization. A sponsor principal is typically defined as the owner of a for-profit organization or a member of the Board of Directors or an executive-level staff person for a nonprofit organization. 

  • Login as a Sponsor Admin
  • Click on the green tab for Setup
  • Click on the icon labeled "Principals"
  • To add a new principal, click the blue "Add" button
  • To edit an existing principal, click on their name
  • Enter or edit the fields:
    • Name: include the name as it appears on official documents
    • Position
    • Birthdate: to ensure the principal is not on the National Disqualified List
    • Term Dates: only relevant for members of the Board of Directors
    • Address
    • Email Address
    • Employer
    • Job Title at Employer
    • Conflicts: record conflicts of interest.
    • Checkboxes 
      • Can Vote
      • Receives Compensation
  • Click “Save”.
