Add a Facility License
Some site types are required to be licensed in order to participate in the CACFP. Tracking the facility license in My Food Program assists with this compliance measure.
To add a facility license:
- Click on “Site Details” on the main dashboard.
- Scroll to the “Facility License” section at the bottom.
- Click on the blue “Add Facility License” button.
- The license type is displayed on the left-hand side, as a reminder (for those using License Type method for license capacity checks).
- Enter the fields:
- License Number
- Start Date
- End Date
- Authority
- Standard (for example, a county or a department of human services)
- Legally Unlicensed
- Military
- Tribal
- Other
- Notes: optional field which will alsoo populate on the Facility License Report.
- License File: upload an image of the license for your records.
- Click “Save”.
Note: you can add multiple licenses into this section. For example, if your license is about to expire and you have your new one already completed, you can save them both in here.
