Additional Capacity Check by Program Type

This feature is for sponsors that have different capacities for two different program types in the same building. For example, you might have a Head Start program that is allowed to have 30 and a traditional child care center operating CACFP that is allowed to have 50 children.


To turn on this additional check:

  • Click on Site Details from the main site dashboard.
  • Scroll down to Claim Settings and check the box labeled "Additional Capacity Check by Program Type".

If this box is checked (1), then you can distinguish your capacities by program type (2). If the meal counts exceed the capacity, an error will be triggered (3).
