Site Uses Highest Allowable Count in lieu of License Capacity

*Applies to Afterschool Programs and Summer Food Service Programs Only

Afterschool programs and summer feeding sites sometimes have a maximum number of meals that they can claim. This number can vary by meal type and is not a licensed capacity, but rather a ceiling set on the amount of meals that can be claimed.

When this box is checked, a section appears at the bottom of the screen that asks for the highest allowable count for each of the meal types.

There is no disallowance associated with exceeding the highest allowable count. Instead, we have created a companion report at the sponsor level, under the Attendance & Meal Count category for “Meal Counts that Exceed Highest Allowable”.
