Record Hours on My Food Program+

You are able to record staff hours within My Food Program+ for the purpose of demonstrating a nonprofit meal service.

To record hours using My Food Program+:

  • Click on “Record Hours” from the main dashboard.
  • Select the month and year you would like to record hours for.
  • Select the Staff you would like to record hours for from the drop-down menu.
  • Click the "Record Hours" button.
  • Defaults to Daily; click on "Daily" button to change to "Bulk".
  • Enter the information into the fields:
    • Start Date
    • End Date (for Bulk entry only)
    • Start Time
    • End Time
    • (Optional) "Add Multiple Start/End Times"
    • Breaks and Other Non-Working Hours
    • “All Hours are CACFP Button”: for those staff that have only CACFP-related duties (for example, food service staff), click here to allocate all working hours as CACFP.
    • CACFP Hours Direct Labor (examples include taking meal counts, grocery shopping, etc.)
    • CACFP Hours Administrative (for self-sponsored sites recording preparing claims, household income statements, etc.)
    • Click "Add Direct Labor Detail" to add specific hours for the following:
      • Managing
      • Planning
      • Organizing
      • Menu Planning
      • Meal Prep & Service
      • Meal Clean-Up
      • Supervise Meal
      • Meal Records
  • Click “Done”.
  • Recorded hours are shown and you can either Edit or Delete, if needed.


Notes:

  • User Settings:
    • Only users with "Allowed to Record Hours on Mobile" selected are able to record hours for themselves in My Food Program+.
    • Only users with "User Allowed to Record Hours for Other Users" selected under Roles are able to record for others.
  • The information saved here will feed into the Staff Hours Detail Report.
