Require Reason for Meals that are Non-Reimbursable (Headcount Only)”

This is a checkbox at the site-level under Site Details in the section "Attendance & Meal Count Settings".


Only Sponsor Admin users can edit this checkbox.

Sites have the ability to record a reason that a meal was marked as non-reimbursable. This is typically used if there was a meal that was not able to be served because it was spoiled, incomplete or at an unsafe temperature.


If you are using the headcount meal count screen with all options turned on, you will see a field called non-reimbursable meals. If the number of non-reimbursable numbers is greater than zero, then a text box will appear for the user to enter a reason.
