Search the Food Database by Product Code or CN Label Number

This feature allows sponsor users to quickly search the food database to determine if a food item with a Product Code or CN Label number already exists in our database. Remember that sponsors, center, sites and providers cannot create their own foods in My Food Program. If you search for a food item and it is not in our database, please contact us to get the food item added. Be sure to include the product formulation statement if it is a non-CN labeled food.

• Login as a sponsor. This will take you to the main sponsor dashboard.
• From the sponsor dashboard, click the tab that says Setup

• From the sponsor setup screen, click the button that says Manage Food Items

• Click on the blue button in the upper-right corner called Search by Product Code or CN

• Enter the product code or CN label number that you want to search for
• Product Codes do not have a uniform format
• CN Label Numbers are always 6 digit numbers
• Click the green Search button to view the results
• You can mark the food item as excluded or as a favorite for new sites right from the search results
• Be sure to click the save button if you change the excluded or favorite status
