Add a Single Day Closure/Holiday/Field Trip [Feature]
This feature allows users to provide prior notification to their sponsor of a field trip or closure so that a monitoring visit is not attempted.
To use this feature:
- Click on Field Trips, Closure or School Release Days on the main dashboard.
- On the Closures page, click the blue Add Single Day button in the upper-right corner.
- Complete the fields
- Reason Off Site
- Select from Field Trip, Closure, Holiday, Lock Meal Counts or Other/Not Claiming
- A field trip will not prevent users from entering meal counts nor will meal counts that were recorded prior the field trip entry be disallowed. Field trips also do not add a red X to menu calendar.
- Recording a closure, holiday or other/not claiming will prevent meal counts from being entered and places a red X on the menu calendar. Any meal counts entered prior to the closure will be disallowed.

- Date Off Site (required)
- Meals not served at site (required)
- Upload Form (optional)
- Notes (optional)
- When you have completed all the fields, click the green Save button.
