Designate a Foster Child [Feature]
This feature allows users to designate a child as a foster child. Foster children are automatically placed in the Tier I (family child care homes) or Free (all other site types) income eligibility category for reimbursement.
To use this feature:
- Click on Participants & Rosters from the main site dashboard.
- Click on the name of the participant.
- Scroll down to the section labeled Foster Child.
- Click the orange Add Foster button to the right.
- Start Date: add if you are authorizing a foster child.
- End Date:
- Leave the end date blank if you are not required to re-authorize foster child status.
- Enter an end date if you are required to re-authorize foster child status and you want an alert of expired status.
- Upload Form: option to add documentation associated with determination.
- Click Save. You will then return to the participant page.
