Foster Child

This feature allows you to designate a child as a foster child. Foster children are automatically placed in the Tier I (family child care homes) or Free (all other site types) income eligibility category for reimbursement.

To use this feature:

• Click on Participants & Rosters from the main site dashboard

• Click on the name of the participant
• Scroll down to the section labeled Foster Child
• Click the orange "Add Foster" button

• You will receive a pop-up message reminding you to save

• Add a start date if you are authorizing a foster child
• Leave the end date blank if you are not required to re-authorize foster child status
• Enter an end date if you are required to re-authorize foster child status and you want an alert of expired status

• Click Save and you will be sent to the household page for that participant
