Participant Claim Roster Method

When we create a claim, we also create a list of the children or adult day care clients that are included in that claim. This list is the Participant Claim Roster Report.
There are multiple ways that we can determine which participants are on he list. The Participant Claim Roster Method that you choose in Sponsor Setup is used to determine which participants are on your claim. The Participant Claim Roster Method you choose should match the state agency policy.

- Login as a Sponsor Admin user
- Click on the Setup tab from the main dashboard

- Click on Sponsor Setup

- Scroll down until you see the choice for "Participant Claim Roster Method" and select from one of the following seven options:
Count | Method | Description |
1 | Daily Attendance | Includes every child or adult day care client that attended during the month. The child or adult daycare client does not need to have an enrollment form in My Food Program or need to be checked in for a meal to be included in the Participant Report. |
2 | Daily Attendance and Enrollment | Includes every child or adult day care client that attended during the month AND has an enrollment form entered into My Food Program. |
3 | Meal Attendance | Includes every child or adult day care client that ate a meal during the month. The child or adult daycare client does not need to have an enrollment form in My Food Program to be included in the Participant Report. |
4 | Meal Attendance and Enrollment | Includes every child or adult day care client that ate a meal during the month AND has an enrollment form entered into My Food Program. |
5 | Enrollment | Includes every child or adult day care client with an enrollment form in My Food Program. |
6 | All Participants | Includes every child or adult day care client in the system unless they were inactive for the whole month. Note that if you select this option, users are limited in editing participant status dates since that would also change claim history |
7 | Fixed | This is for sites that do a test month and then use that same claiming percentage for an extended period of time. This requires that the sponsor enter the fixed percentage for the claim month in Site Details. |
Note that if you change the Participant Claim Roster Method and you want it to apply to any prior claims, you will need to rollback the claim and re-process.
