ARAM Participant Program

The ARAM participant program is used for participants that are eligible for the At-Risk Afterschool Meals program.

Adding ARAM Participant Program

Participants in afterschool sites are assigned to the ARAM participant program by default.

Children in child care centers that are participating in At-Risk Afterschool Meals will need to have the ARAM participant program added to their profile. To do that:

  • Click on Participants & Rosters from the main dashboard
  • Click on the Participants Name
  • Scroll down to the Participant Programs section
  • Click the orange "Add Program" Button
  • Enter the "Start Date" for the ARAM as the first date that the child was eligible for ARAM*
  • Save the participant

*A child can be eligible for ARAM when they initially enroll as a school age child OR become eligible when they transition from a preschool program to a school age program.

Children who are eligible for At-Risk Afterschool Meals will have an AR next to their name if that meal is also eligible for the At-Risk Afterschool Meals program.

Note: children in child care centers can be enrolled in both ARAM and another participant program. For example, they could participate in CACFP meals for breakfast and then an ARAM for PM snack. If that is the case, then the child will have two participant programs assigned at the same time.

If you have a child who was not eligible for ARAM and they become eligible (for example, they begin attending school), simply

  • Click the orange Add Program button
  • Select ARAM  for the program
  • Enter the Start Date when the child first became eligible for ARAM
  • Save the participant
