Description for Print View and Menu Notes
While planning menus, you may see two boxes labeled Description for Print View and Menu Notes. Learn more about what these mean below.
Description for Print View
In this box, type the description that you would like to appear on the printed version of the menu. Don't forget to list all the foods served so that your printed version is an accurate reflection of your menu. If you leave this box blank, then your printed menu will include the food item names, such as "Corn, canned, drained (in cups)".
*This is an optional setting and you may not see this if your sponsor has it turned off.
Menu Notes
The text in this box will be displayed on your printed menu but will not replace the food list or Description for Print View.
