Staff Roles

Site-level users can be assigned one of three roles:

  • Site Manager/Director
  • Staff
  • Kitchen Staff or Infant Teacher
*You can also select whether to allow users to record hours for others.

Site Manager/Director:

They have full access to all features. This is what their dashboard looks like:


Kitchen Staff or Infant Teacher:

This permission level is restricted to menus and attendance and meal counts. There is also an option to enable these user to also be able to access participants & roster. This is what their dashboard looks like:

Staff:

At minimum, Staff have access to attendance & meal counts.

You also have the option of customizing their dashboard to allow for the following features:

  • Menu
  • Participants & Rosters
  • Record Hours
  • File Cabinet


You can find the settings for Menu, Participants & Rosters and File Cabinet all in Staff/User from the main dashboard.

You can find Record Hours in Site Details from the main dashboard.

*User Allowed to Record Hours for Other Users

This feature is for sites that use My Food Program to record their hours for the purposes of time distribution reports and/or expense tracking. Sponsors have the ability to authorize site-level users to record hours on behalf of others. For example, if a center director is taking timesheets from another system and entering the data into My Food Program for CACFP-specific recordkeeping, then they would need to record hours on behalf of others.

Permission Levels for Entering Attendance and Meal Counts in the Past
