How to Use Meal Orders

This feature is for sponsors that provide food directly to their sponsored sites.

1. Create Custom Meal Order Categories
The first step is to create custom meal order categories. You also have the option to enter a price for the meal order.
2. Set Age Range(s) for Meal Orders
Next, you need to select an age range for your meal orders.
3. Assign Meal Order Categories to Sites
Now that the meal order categories and age ranges are set up, we need to authorize the sites to create meal orders.

4. Create Meal Orders
There are three ways to create Meal Orders:
- Creating a Meal Order for a Single Site and Meal
- Creating Bulk Meal Orders for a Single Site
- Creating Bulk Meal Orders for Multiple Sites
5. Track Meals Received/Prepared
Meal orders automatically populate the meals received/prepared on the meal count screen. Sponsors can decide if site-level users can change the meals received/prepared.
If you want the meal orders to just flow through to the meals received/prepared then leave the box in Site Details for "Allow Site-Level Users to Edit the Meals Prepared/Received Field"

If you want site-level users to be able to change the meals received/prepared from the meal order quantity then check the box in Site Details for "Allow Site-Level Users to Edit the Meals Prepared/Received Field"
