Racial Identity
Federal regulations for the CACFP and SFSP have "requirements for racial and ethnic participation data collection" in order to ensure compliance with Civil Rights requirements. The feature assists with that data collection and reporting requirement.
Sponsors have the option to require racial information when adding participants.
- Click on Participants & Rosters from the main site dashboard
- Click on the name of the participant
- Scroll down to the dropdown labeled Racial Identity
- Add or remove the racial identity for the participant
- Click Save and you will be sent to the household page for that participant
